FOUNDER

Dr. Abraham Patani, born in Kerala, found his passion for science at an early age. This led him to complete his Bachelors in Pharmacy at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India.

In his quest to pursue research, he travelled to Germany and completed his Doctorate of Science in Phytochemistry at The University of Mainz in 1958. He published his scientific research in the field of Thin Layer Chromatography in reputed journals, which earned him great admiration across the world.

After completion of his Doctoral Studies, he came back to India and established Indo - German Alkaloids - the parent company of the Inga Group. Dr Abraham Patani is a founding member and past president of the Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association.
